Warehouse & Logistics Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this position you will play an integral role in supporting the EMS Unlimited missions. The EMS Unlimited Warehouse and Logistics Associate will have a high degree of attention to detail with an excellent communication and technology skills. The employee will be responsible for the warehouse and all associated inventory and upkeep of equipment/supplies in addition to managing shipments, maintenance schedules for ambulances and related EMS equipment . Daily tasks will consist of equipment/gear inspections, supply inventory and maintenance of equipment, shipping & receiving and using computers to document all actions. 

COMPENSATION:

  • $22.50 per hour

SCHEDULE:

  • Place of work - 1828 Enterprise Ct. Rifle, CO
  • 32-40 hours per week
    • Hours and day's worked flexible to balance work and personal life
  • Some weekends required  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct post use inventory and inspection of equipment/bags/kits that are used on wildland fire missions and prepare for re-issue.
  • Conducting inventory of team equipment and bags using a pre-built inventory system.
  • Reporting inventory discrepancies to leadership and placing ordered items into respective bags/kits. 
  • Assisting in inventory and restocking of ambulances.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse. 
  • Organizing supplies, equipment and tools in the warehouse and supply rooms.
  • Required maintenance and upkeep of company tools and equipment in the warehouse. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

The employee must also:

  • Be detail oriented and strive for a high degree of organization and cleanliness. 
  • Be familiar with inventory systems and use of computers and spreadsheets.
  • Be a positive, encouraging and customer service driven team player, as EMS is a team effort, employees must take action to maintain work area sanitation, readiness and adherence to quality assurance standards;
  • The employee conducts themselves in a courteous, helpful, dignified and professional manner at all times.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Drug Free workplace, must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen
  • Must be able to lift and move objects of heavy weight, up to 100 pounds.
  • Should be competent in the use of spreadsheet software and inventory systems. 

Certificates, Licenses and Age

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
