EMT - Emergency Medical Technician, Transport Division - Full-Time

Compensation:
- Starting at $50,000/year - increases with experience and credentials
- Total Rewards package including uniform allowance, wellness allowance (for gym memberships, parks passes, gear, etc.), and insurance options.
Perform duties associated with basic medical and first aid services and emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and EMS Unlimited policies in the setting of IFT (inter facility) ambulance and transport operations.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- This is an IFT environment, a high degree of critical thinking and desire for professional development plus exceptional clinical decision making is required.
- Maintaining and encouraging EMS Unlimited values in yourself and your coworkers;
- Responding to emergency and non-emergency requests calmly, efficiently and promptly;
- With compassion and professionalism, administering basic clinical care in accordance with company doctrines, federal, state, and local laws, regulations and standards;
- Conducting medical equipment inventory.
- Cleaning, organizing and restocking supplies in a ready condition after each use;

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide critical care and support to patients in need. As an EMT with our organization, you'll play a vital role in our community's health and safety.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency and non-emergency calls
- Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate basic life support and medical care
- Transport patients safely to healthcare facilities, ensuring their comfort and stability
- Accurately document patient information, treatments, and incident details
- Maintain and restock ambulance equipment and supplies
- Collaborate effectively with other emergency responders, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the ambulance
- Assist in community outreach and education programs related to emergency preparedness
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas EMT License
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least {AGE} of age
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Physical fitness to perform essential job functions, including lifting and moving patients
- Basic computer skills for electronic patient care reporting
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
