Job Description

**Responsibilities:**

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products against shipping documents and purchase orders
  • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations using proper inventory management techniques
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and efficient manner, and perform regular equipment inspections
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are correct before shipment
  • Load and unload trucks and containers, securing loads properly to prevent damage or shifting
  • Operate and drive delivery trucks to transport materials and products to customer locations, following all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, communicate discrepancies to warehouse management, and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment and maintaining a clean, organized work environment
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve shipping discrepancies and customer concerns quickly

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or warehouse certification an asset
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills with team members and supervisors
  • Ability to remain calm and function effectively in fast-paced, stressful, or unexpected situations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, and move materials regularly (up to 50 pounds)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order verification
  • Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes quickly
  • Proficiency with computer systems and warehouse management software preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred

Additional Information

Salary Range - $40,000 - $80,00 depending on experience.
