Job Description
Salary Range - $45,000 - $75,000
As a Showroom Sales Support representative, you will provide sales support to the Showroom Consultants as well as customers via telephone, email, and walk-ins to our Ensuite Showroom. You will be the backbone of the Showroom Team, assisting with customer support, product sourcing, and managing the flow of orders. Support will also be provided to directly to customers and homeowners.
Additional duties will include:
- Support Showroom Consultants activities as part of the team
- Follow up on backorders with vendors and provide customers accurate delivery dates
- Source products from vendors and other locations to meet project timelines and budgets
- Send and follow-up with request for quotes to vendors
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and in person questions from customers identify their needs
- Book consultations showroom consultations
- Enter sales orders generated from Showroom customers via phone, emails, and texts
- Process returns and warranty claims to customers both on account and cash sales including paperwork in compliance with all procedures
- Maintain product literature to ensure most current information is available to customers
- Research product for customers and provide recommendations
- Plan and co-ordinate customer events
- Resolve issues related to customer orders in accordance with our policies and procedures (SPIs)
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with customer service or luxury sales support; plumbing, kitchen or bathroom showroom sales preferred
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software to communicate via email, analyze customer data and update customer contact files
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
- Ability to identify customer needs, provide profitable solutions and close the sale
- Ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks
- Intermediate math skills
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold in the Ensuite Showroom
- Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
- Possess excellent project management skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility and Adaptability
