Job Description

EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in C# and SQL. Experience or knowledge of the Infor OS Suite and Infor M3 ERP system is a significant advantage. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability
  • Work collaboratively with developers and analysts to refine data structures
  • Engage in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
  • Participate in data migration and integration projects
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical solutions that meet business needs
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, manage database operations, and ensure data integrity and performance
  • Build scalable and efficient backend systems, integrating APIs, services, and databases.
  • Maintain and enhance user-friendly front-end interfaces, focusing on performance and responsive design
  • Collaborate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing, deployment, and support
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing systems and codebases

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions)
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, TypeScript, Java, and Angular
  • Knowledge of XML and Restful APIs to facilitate data integration and communication
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
  • A knowledge of Infor OS Suite and Infor M3 ERP system is highly desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based architecture and microservices
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of ERP systems and enterprise-level software solutions
