We are seeking a talented HRIS Analyst to join our team and drive the optimization of our HRIS systems to support our business objectives!

Job Description

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

As an HRIS Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Reporting to the HRIS Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with leadership, IT professionals, and key stakeholders across the organization to ensure that our HRIS platforms effectively support our HR processes and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Integrity and Compliance:

  • Review and action daily audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work with the payroll and benefit teams as a subject matter expert to answer questions and validate data accuracy.
  • Assist in system audits, data clean-up, corrections, and testing to maintain data integrity.

2. System Administration and Support:

  • Provide day-to-day HRIS systems administration and support activities, including monitoring and escalating the HRIS support ticket inbox.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the HRIS system, including security administration and documentation.
  • Manage and audit user account access to ensure appropriate permissions and data security.

3. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Creation of custom queries and reports as required to support HR and business decision-making.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.

4. User Education and Support:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and training to users and stakeholders. Promote user adoption and proficiency in HRIS systems.
  • Coordinate and communicate resolutions on HRIS-related issues as required, ensuring timely and effective support.

5. Process Improvement and Initiatives:

  • Contribute to implementing process improvement initiatives related to HRIS applications, systems, and tools.
  • Troubleshoot reported issues to discover root cause and enact preventative measures to improve system efficiency and usability.
  • Participate in system maintenance initiatives, including upgrades, to enhance system functionality and performance.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business stakeholders, to address HRIS-related requirements and challenges.
  • Maintain workflow processes and business rules to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

7. Health and Safety:

  • Comply with Emco requirements for Health and Safety while taking part in prompt reporting of workplace accidents and incidents and unsafe conditions.

8.  Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the HRIS Manager or HR leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar preferred
  • Minimum three to five years of related experience
  • 3+ years’ experience working with PeopleSoft HCM preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows & Office applications
  • Advanced aptitude and experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with databases preferred
  • Experience working with SQL and other data languages preferred
  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Great communication skills & ability to work well independently and with others
  • Motivated and self-disciplined
  • A high level of concentration for prolonged periods is required
