Security Industry

We are seeking Armed and Unarmed Security Officers to patrol designated areas (on foot, by bike, golf cart, or vehicle), assist with event security, and work closely with public safety teams and local law enforcement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide security for public spaces and events

• Conduct mobile and stationary patrols

• Operate bicycles, golf carts, or vehicles (based on assignment)

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure public safety

• Support emergency response efforts when needed

•  

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience and Skills

For both positions:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields

• Ability to stand and perform physical duties for extended periods

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Additional for Armed Officers:

• Experience with security equipment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)

Additional for Unarmed Officers:

• State-specific certification/licensing (if applicable)

• Knowledge of surveillance systems, first aid, conflict resolution, and de-escalation techniques

Required Licenses

• Armed Officers: Valid D, G, and DL licenses (U.S.)

• Unarmed Officers: Valid D license

Compensation

• Armed Security Officers: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

• Unarmed Security Officers: $15.50 – $16.00 per hour

Additional Requirements

• Must meet minimum age requirements:

  • Armed Officers: 18 years or older

  • Unarmed Officers: 21 years or older

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

• Unarmed Officers must pass a drug screening (per § 112.0455) and background check

• Must be willing to work at indoor and/or outdoor client sites depending on the assignment
