At our hotel, the role of the receptionist goes beyond ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs. It’s about creating a unique and memorable experience for each guest. Our Guest Experience Experts take the initiative to offer a wide range of services that guide guests throughout their stay. They feel empowered to stay active and do whatever is necessary at each moment. Whether they are handling operational tasks, addressing guest requests, completing reports, or recommending local events and attractions, the Guest Experience Experts make every interaction part of the overall guest experience.

Regardless of the specific role, there are several key elements essential to success. These include creating a safe work environment, following company guidelines and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, safeguarding company assets, upholding quality standards, and ensuring that uniforms, personal appearance, and communication remain professional. Guest Experience Experts are always on the move—standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods—and are involved in a variety of tasks, such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing items under 10 lbs without assistance. It’s essential for the Guest Experience Experts to consistently perform these tasks (and other reasonable duties as requested) to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the hotel.

Desirable Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Relevant Work Experience: 2 years.

Supervisory Experience: 2 years.

License or Certification: None required.
