We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing firewall devices from various vendors and ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS requirements. Your expertise will contribute to the overall security posture of our organization while participating in ongoing process automation initiatives.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in network security and administration.
• Proficiency in Python (medium level).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell (medium level).
• Demonstrated experience in managing and configuring firewall devices.
• Good understanding of network administration concepts.
• Knowledge with PCI-DSS requirements is highly appreciated.
• CCNP certification is a plus.
• A strong security mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
• Experience with IPS/IDS administration and fine-tuning, as well as support with process automation initiatives, would be beneficial.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and administering firewall devices from multiple vendors, such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Cisco.
• Performing firewall rule audits in accordance with PCI-DSS requirements, ensuring all rules are up-to-date and compliant.
• Conducting security validation checks for new firewall access-list rules to verify compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
• Maintaining relevant documentation related to firewall configurations, audits, and compliance activities.
• Participating in the automation of team processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
