Job Description

We are looking for a Scrum Master for our product development department. As the Scrum Master (SM) you are the facilitator of our way of working and value enabler as part of agile teams. You remove or enable removing obstacles that prevent the team from keeping their commitments. You are coaching and mentoring the people in our department on agile methodology and our desired mindset. You ensure that we learn from our past and continuously improve our way of working.

Qualifications

  • Higher education (university degree or equivalent)
  • You already had first experience as a Scrum Master and maybe also in other methods like Kanban, XP, DevOps
  • You have very good skills as moderator, presenter & coach
  • Proactive, independent and solution-focus working style
  • Open-minded personality, team-player with interpersonal and conflict solving skills
  • For you Agility is a passion, not only a framework or process
  • You have a certificate as Scrum Master (e.g. scrum.org PSM1)
  • Beneficial, but not mandatory: you have experience with Scaled Agile approaches such as LeSS or SAFe
  • You are highly motivated to design with us the next steps moving towards DevOps
  • You are speaking proficient Business English

Responsibilities:

  • As a servant leader you support and coach up to three Development Teams & PO to work in a self-organized & agile way
  • You work together with other Scrum Masters in different locations following a Scaled Agile approach
  • You are helping the whole Scrum Team in different Scrum Events to define, refine and work on their Sprint Backlog
  • You are organizing & moderating different Scrum ceremonies e.g. the Sprint Retrospective
  • You are coaching the whole group in a motivating approach to understand the Agile Values and Principles
  • You are helping the Teams to remove impediments
  • You are working closely together with the PO, to ensure the product backlog is ready for the next sprint
  • You ensure that time boxes (ceremonies, features, etc.) are respected and adhered to
  • You are driving the continuous improvements of the team members, process and product
