Synopsis

We are looking for a recent graduate with 360 degrees of talent and vision to be part of our highly selective one year management trainee program. You will be the future generation of EF leaders, and innovative thinkers, who will grow quickly into roles where they’ll use their natural insight and the knowledge gained during their year as a 360, to help EF continue its rapid growth.

The job will be highly demanding, but very rewarding. If you are deterred by jetlag, going above and beyond, or working long hours, this program is not for you.

By the end of the 360 program, you’ll be well along your way in an exciting career at EF. You’ll be equipped with deep, hands-on knowledge of the industry as well as the expansive network of contacts and mentors you’ll have made all over the company, and the world, during your year as a 360.

The Role

It’s as much a mission as it is a job. You’ll assist an EF President who will act as your mentor, your supervisor, and your friend. You could be asked to produce a flash mob for a viral marketing campaign, analyze sales data, or be a production assistant on a video shoot. No assignment is too big or too small. You’ll be based in Boston, but you need to be prepared to travel both domestically and internationally. We guarantee you will be challenged, have real responsibility, work on interesting projects, meet multi-cultural individuals and have fun while working in our global offices. You need to possess strong analytical and communication skills that will help you collaborate with teams and lead a project.

Requirements

•           Impressive academic credentials; Bachelor’s degree required

•           Fluency in English and at least one other language is preferred

•           Strong computer skills

•           Clear analytical skills

•           Sharp combination of quantitative and qualitative skills

•           Aspirations to someday be a president, founder or CEO of a company

•           US passport

Career Path

Once you become truly 360 (to us that means fully versed in EF’s entrepreneurial operating style), you will be given a position within our organization that best suits your talents and skills. Positions can range anywhere from managing a team in Boston, to opening a new office in a merging market, to analyzing business data in Zurich.

360 Business Challenge

To help us get an idea of how well you think “out of the box,” applicants need to complete our EF360 “out of the box” challenge:

The United Nations predicts that by 2050, 60 percent of the developing world and 86 percent of the developed world will be urbanized.

There are more than 30 million tons of banana peels thrown away globally every year.

Approximately 324 litres of water are used to produce 1kg of paper.

Challenge: Use these three facts to design a business that is for profit and for the greater good. Your submission should include organizational and financial implications as well as a compelling business model that will distinguish you among hundreds of applicants.

Any creative format is welcome, although video submissions should be captivating and under three minutes and written proposals be brilliant and under 500 words.

In your application, please upload your resume, cover, and business proposal in the same document.
