Traveler Support Specialist
Smithsonian Student Travel

Synopsis
Bring your energy, attention to detail, initiative and excellent customer service skills to this position. As a Traveler Support Specialist, you will be working with student travelers and their parents to assist with a variety of account management and travel arrangement topics to help students prepare for traveling on tour.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing traveler accounts, communicating with customers on both inbound and outbound calls, working to problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced team environment, and liaising with multiple departments of the company to ensure customer satisfaction. Your greatest assets will be your communication skills, time management, ability to problem solve, and enthusiasm for educational travel. This is an entry level position that requires flexibility regarding assigned shifts. During incentive periods, performance based bonus may seasonally be applicable based on individual transactional sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-1 years of customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail, organization and flexibility
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
- Spanish speaker preferred
