Responsibilities: • Create REST/GraphQL based web services and APIs for consumption by mobile and web for distributed B2B platform • Code, test and operate NodeJS based services • Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and fellow engineers • Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performance code base.
 

Skills: • 5+ years of experience working as a Backend Engineer using NodeJS, ExpressJS and/or Typescript extensions • Hands-on experience with relational databases like Postgres • Must have experience with REST APIs or GraphQL • Experience building / consuming OpenAPI and GraphQL specifications • Must have experience working on AWS and Docker • Must possess good knowledge in DevOps and CI/CD • Should have experience in building microservices systems and testing them • Must have in-depth knowledge of system design and optimization • Experience with Scala/Kotlin/Java/Golang will be a plus • Experience with BDD (behavior driven development) will be an added advantage • Must have experience working in a Global distributed team environment like Europe, US and Asia • Must possess the ability to think critically and holistically
