Job Description

We are seeking a Junior QA Tester to expand our Quality Assurance team. As a Junior QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software is working properly and meets the necessary quality standards. You will work closely with our development team to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide feedback on software functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing of the software to ensure it meets quality standards, including identifying bugs and defects.
  • Create and execute test cases and test plans.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify issues and troubleshoot problems.
  • Document and report bugs and defects to the development team.
  • Track and manage issues and defects to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that issues have been resolved and new features have not caused unintended problems.
  • Participate in product design and specification reviews to provide feedback on the testability of new features.
  • Create and maintain clear and concise documentation on test results and bugs found

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with remote IT administration software.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans and PowerShell.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and techniques.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V and Azure.
  • Basic understanding of networks and IT systems (Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Windows, Mac and Linux OS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and able to identify and track issues accurately.
  • Good documentation skills
