Position Overview - This is a hybrid position working in-office in Minneapolis, MN 

The Vice President of Finance and Operations will be responsible for overseeing the financial management, IT operations, and sales and service operations of EAC Product Development Solutions. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the company's financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business growth.

 

Job Description

General:

  • Identifying inefficiencies in company systems and advising on overcoming them to use resources more efficiently.
  • Leadership to oversee any support staff, conduct interviews for potential new hires, establishes and maintains an adequate staffing structure, actively provide resources, training, mentorship, and solutions to direct reports to achieve individual, departmental, and overall company goals, objectives, and development.
  • Advocate and promote a positive work environment.
  • Actively engage with other departments and leadership to ensure alignment and synergy across the organization.

 

Finance Department:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives and market opportunities.
    • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the financial viability of new business initiatives and investment opportunities.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on revenue optimization, cost management, and profitability improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop detailed budgets and financial plans.
    • Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support business planning and decision-making.
    • Monitor budget performance and variances, identifying areas for improvement and corrective action.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
    • Oversee internal controls and audit processes to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
    • Manage and monitor all financial transactions, payroll, and tax activities.

IT Department:

  • IT Strategy and Infrastructure:
    • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Technology Investment and Innovation:
    • Evaluate and recommend technology investments and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department.
    • Identify emerging technologies and trends that can drive competitive advantage for the company.

Sales and Service Operations Department:

  • Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth:
    • Manage the development and implementation of sales operations strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
    • Monitor service operation strategies performance and effectiveness, implementing strategies to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Service Delivery and Customer Satisfaction:
    • Develop and implement service delivery processes and standards to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Foster a customer-centric culture within the service operations department, emphasizing responsiveness, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Other duties as assigned as company needs dictate.

Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance and operations leadership roles, preferably in the software or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience in IT management, including IT strategy development, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and operational excellence in a customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have ability to work with time-sensitive deadlines, multi-task, and meet the project and corporate goals while working in stressful situations.
  • Must possess good organizational skills, be able to work independently with focus and discipline to achieve the customer and company goals.
  • Ability to perform consistently with high collaboration and output.

Additional Information

COMPENSATION

Annual Salary $150,000.00
