- Full-time
- Compensation: AUD 38 - AUD 43 - hourly
Company Description
For over 50 years, Each has supported people and communities to live healthier, more fulfilling lives. Join us and help deliver Altogether better care.
Job Description
- 4‑month fixed‑term role with an immediate start
- Based in Hervey Bay - Onsite with ad hoc travel required
- Mobile, hands‑on support where it matters most
- $38-$43 p/h + NFP salary packaging up to $18,550
At Each, we’re all about bringing health and wellbeing closer to communities. Right now, our Better Connect Program is expanding across Queensland — and we’re looking for a hands‑on Project Assistant who loves being out on the ground, keeping things moving, and making a real difference behind the scenes. This role is all about keeping the program running smoothly day to day.
You’ll work closely with the Better Connect General Manager, providing practical administrative, coordination and operational support — while also being ready to jump in and support sites when needed. Some weeks will be more office‑based; others will require you to be on the road at short notice, helping with site readiness, deliveries or checks. If you’re someone who likes variety, autonomy and being the person who helps make things happen, you’ll thrive here.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the Better Connect Leadership Team with day‑to‑day program coordination and administration
- Keeping track of actions, documents, schedules and follow‑ups so nothing slips through the cracks
- Acting as a connector between teams (including Infrastructure and Melbourne‑based colleagues)
- Being available to travel to sites across Hervey Bay, Rockhampton, Emerald and surrounding locations, sometimes at short notice
- Attending sites to receive deliveries, coordinate access, support basic checks or testing, and assist during peak delivery periods
- Supporting engagement and co‑design activities with consortium partners
- Pitching in with ad hoc tasks as needed to keep the program running smoothly
About you
You don’t need to come from a specific sector — but you do need to be:
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable juggling changing priorities
- Practical and hands‑on, with a “no task too small” mindset
- Confident working independently and building relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Flexible and happy to travel as required — including with limited notice
- Comfortable being out on sites regularly (this is not a WFH‑based role)
Experience in admin, project support, coordination, or executive support roles will set you up well.
What you’ll need (essential)
- Current Driver’s Licence and your own reliable car
- Current Blue Card (Queensland Working With Children Check)
- Availability to start immediately
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly between sites
Why join Each?
You’ll be joining a values‑driven organisation that genuinely cares about people and communities. In this role, you’ll see the impact of your work first‑hand — helping services get up and running and supporting teams to do their best work.
