Join our Early Childhood Approach team, delivering our Early Supports Program, through family centred, strengths based, evidence informed and best practices in early intervention.

Your role, your impact
Looking for a rewarding career in early childhood intervention? We need an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you'll: 

  • Deliver supports, in partnership with families, to help them achieve their goals, using evidence informed best practice.  
  • Use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family.  
  • Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your coaching skills. 
  • Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.  
  • keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system. 
  • Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans. 

We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates who have worked in specialist early childhood settings or SSP (Schools for Specific Purposes), and who demonstrate a sound understanding of developmental milestones in early childhood.

Who we're looking for

  • A bachelors degree qualification in Early Childhood/ Education
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues. 
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme
