Job Description

  • As a Product Engineer (PE), you focus on  value creation through technical domain leadership, delivery  and execution 
  • You will bring different engineering teams and stakeholders together to create the best possible Dynatrace experience for our customers (use-case focus)  
  • You are a close sparring partner to Product Management as a counselor and challenger to the Product Roadmap and are responsible for bringing the roadmap to life and our customers 
  • You drive technical decisions and are responsible for end-to-end delivery at a high-quality and in time 
  • You will form internal project teams and coordinate cross-team activity to enhance value creation You will work with many roles across the company to plan and break down the “WHAT problem we want to solve” into the “HOW to solve it”  
  • You make sure that the teams are aligned with our roadmap and that they can focus on their charter   
  • You identify engineering bottlenecks and find solutions with our Development leadership to keep up the delivery and execution of new features 
  • You are accountable for the capability’s innovation and maintenance related topics by balancing them with the company’s roadmaps 
  • You are responsible for the capability’s backlog and its execution together with the involved Development Teams 
  • You monitor the delivery flow of the capability and trigger improvements together with your key stakeholders 

Qualifications

  • Deep experience in software development as Senior or Principal Software Engineer, Product Owner, Development Team or Department Lead in an agile IT/Software environment  
  • Several years of technical leadership experience  
  • Excellent communication skills - you are able to get different stakeholders (Product Management, the team's Product Owner, Product Architects, ...) on the same page and align people and strategy  
  • You are a team player with good people skills and a passion for coaching and mentoring others 
  • You feel comfortable in building strong relationships with your colleagues to advance the business

Compensation  and rewards   

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages. 
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 65,000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualification and experience.
