Job Description

By providing actionable data on how applications are performing in real-time—for example, crash reporting, server-side tracking, root-cause analysis to name a few—our full-stack monitoring platform helps our customers anticipate and resolve their software issues. Therefore, it is mission-critical for our customers that Dynatrace provides the best-in-class reliability, Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Indicators (SLIs). 

Your role at Dynatrace 

  • Develop and implement a clear vision for our SRE initiatives, aligning with the overall business objectives. 
  • Set and track reliability goals by establishing Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to measure and improve system reliability to ensure the team is working towards measurable goals. 
  • Work closely with architects and SRE engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
  • Create, drive, and maintain the SRE roadmap with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) scope. 
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with internal and external vendors providing SRE tools or services. This includes Dynatrace, where we, the SRE team, are our product's most critical Customer Zero. 
  • Apply customer- and user-centric thinking to define the target audience, use cases, needs, and pain points. 
     

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ hands-on SRE experience in a SaaS environment (check alerts and incidents, incident response, capacity planning, automation and tooling, on-call duties, post-mortem analysis, etc.). 
  • 3+ years of experience leading a SRE team or a product owner/product management experience in an agile software product environment. 
  • Passionate about pushing the limits to operate a vast SaaS solution reliable and performant at scale! 
  • Strong interest and understanding of technical topics such as Software Intelligence, Cloud Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Application Security, SaaS Software, ...
