Our client is offering a generous package for an accomplished Operations Manager with extensive experience within manufacturing / Construction / Production environments. We are looking for someone who is ambitious who wants to drive a business forward and work towards an ambitious growth strategy. The Salary is negotiable and competitive with a company car.

The Role:

• In a nutshell you will provide Operational direction, leadership and man management and you will support the Operations Director in all aspects of production management operations and team leadership.
• The Director will be looking for you to improve on the work he has done and to implement lean manufacturing techniques and never rest until you have strived for perfection and always looking for improvements
• The role is suited to someone who has managed production managers or team leaders and has worked with Health and safety and quality and all aspects of a smal commercial support team,
• Doubling the turnover in the next 5 years is the requirement and opportunity to grow into the Operations Director role is very likely.

The Candidate - 

• It is essential that you are from a manufacturing background PLEASE do not apply if you are from any other sector - This is a manufacturing / production / Operations leadership role.
• You will have experience of growing teams - Managing team leaders and a small management team and you will have a proven track record of improving manufacturing environments. 
• You will be well versed in all things QHSE
• You will be dynamic, entrepreneurial and have brilliant experience of growing small teams
• You will be an expert in operations and production and continuous improvement techniques.
• You will have worked in a small manufacturing business but also have experience working in a larger business - The mix is important.
  
• You must have 5 years experience at this level in a manufacturing operations role.
