Job Description

Due to our continued growth and strong demand, our Wholesale division has an exciting opportunity for a full time Assistant Stock Controller to join our dynamic team based onsite at our iconic Richmond headquarters!

Reporting to our National Transactions Manager this role will see you build strong and lasting customer relationships. We believe that having the right team in place is essential for providing our customers with the best possible experience.

As our Assistant Stock Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Follow up dealerships and finance companies on encumbered vehicles and have them cleared in a timely manner.
  • Bring vehicles into stock from invoices with a high level of accuracy.
  • Request and follow up on overdue and missing invoices.
  • Conduct stocktake off premises and have all vehicles accounted for.
  • Have an open line of contact with buyers and dealerships and be able to answer queries and action any changes quickly.
  • Responding to stock enquiries from internal teams and external customers promptly and professionally.
  • Be able to make any invoicing adjustments/ getting approval in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain accuracy and thoroughness in a busy, ever-changing workplace.
  • Strong Organisational Skills.
  • Proven experience in effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities to enhance overall team efficiency.
  • Demonstrated capability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring the quality of work is maintained. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with colleagues and clients effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive outlook who can foster a harmonious working environment.
  • Knowledge of Luxury Car Tax regulations and the ability to identify applicable vehicles.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred however not essential.
