Job Description

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing pipeline and reaching out to merchants, brands and organizations looking to build on top of the Duplo platform. The position is remote but we'd like someone based in Lagos, Nigeria. 

You have a track record of building strategic relationships, solution selling and enablement with brands.

You will be a critical member of our commercial team identifying companies that Duplo can partner with to co-launch financial and banking products to market.

You will be a product expert and have a critical business and investment acumen to evaluate, qualify, and align Duplo’s value proposition, core features, and benefits to the current and future roadmap needs of prospective Duplo Program Partners.

The right individual has:

  • Experience selling innovative digital products to brands and affiliate partners

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Strong prospecting and sales development skills for account-based selling

What you'll do

  • Identify and source prospective program partners via channel partners, linkedin, social media and existing contacts and databases

  • Open doors with new prospects, map the organization and find the decision maker(s)

  • Confidently position the company, value proposition, proposal and pricing and exhibit fluency in powering your own product demos.

  • Provide internal feedback about product opportunities and unmet needs

  • Work with client success team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 7+ year strategic partnership, business development, or strategic sales with brands, financial services, or SaaS

  • Experience successfully developing and utilizing a consultative business and partnership roadmap

  • Consistently and accurately uses sales and marketing technology tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn, and other social platforms

  • College degree or equivalent
