Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Builds delivery loads for safe transport and delivery

• Pulls all building material as safely and efficiently as possible

• Protects weather sensitive material

• Uses forklifts to safely transport products

• Understands and follows Dunn Lumber Co. Delivery policies and procedures

• Maintains and follows delivery procedures for adding notes and picking orders per the delivery policy

• Stocks products as needed

• Assists other departments as needed

• Maintains a clean work environment

• Helps customers as needed

• Assembles loads with the customers project needs in mind whenever safely possible

• Other duties as assigned

This is an entry level position with a two-week training period and continued learning while employed. The two-week training is completed on site with your supervisor or at a Training Yard with the Training Department. The training for this position will focus on product knowledge, Point of Sale software, and yard operations.

This position is in a retail store environment. This position is largely sedentary with stools at each station. The noise level is moderate.
