Job Description

The Buyer position at Dunn Lumber is responsible for deciding which building products Dunn Lumber sells and creating systems to reliably source material for the company. The goal of our Buyers is to source quality products that are both relevant to the greater Seattle building market (for contractors and homeowners) as well as profitable to the company. The Buyer position is versatile and includes tasks such as office work, hands-on work at Dunn locations, project-based work, touring vendor locations and manufacturing plants, and attending buying shows. Buyers are responsible for designing functional merchandise sets that enhance the customer shopping experience. Great communication skills are a “must” to maintain vendor relationships and interdepartmental collaboration. Through building and maintaining these relationships, this team develops programs that source the best products and represents the Dunn Lumber company professionally.

This is a Full-Time job working 40 hours per week. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm. This is NOT a remote position. Employees will be on-site at our Corporate Office.
