Job Description
What You Get To Do:
The Program Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and management of the daily operations and services within one Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) program in Baton Rouge.
- Conducting orientation, ongoing training and supervision of DSP staff
- Scheduling of DSP staff
- Scheduling medical appointments for individuals supported in the program
- Monitoring inventory of the home’s groceries, medical and household supplies and purchasing supplies regularly
- Tracking and documentation of receipts and expenditures
- Ensuring compliance and accuracy of daily documentation
- Ensuring routine vehicle maintenance is performed on company vehicles
- Regular communication with nursing staff on medication needs within home
- Provide occasional transportation to individuals supported in the home, local travel
- Ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible.
Qualifications
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- A high school diploma or GED is required. Preference is given to applicants who have a 2-year degree in the field of human services
- 2 years of supervisory experience in the human services field providing services directly to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- To qualify candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Candidates must be flexible to provide on-call support outside of regular business hours
- Proficiency with computers specifically MS 365 and MS Office and able to quickly learn and adapt to changing technology
- Must be reliable, flexible and possess good decision-making and communication skills
