WE OFFER:

  • Compensation: $59,500 Annually Fixed Rate
  • Work Environment: Hybrid, onsite 2 days a week in Oklahoma City, OK office

Job Description

Are you passionate about learning, leadership, and making an impact? We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Talent Development (TD) Supervisor to lead a dynamic regional training team at Dungarvin! In this vital role, you'll drive impactful orientation and ongoing training programs, directly supporting our Operations teams and empowering employees to grow their skills and careers. 

As TD Supervisor, you'll lead a team of trainers across multiple sites, ensuring consistent, compliant, and engaging training experiences. You’ll also help shape the future of the Talent Development department; this role is a great fit for someone ready to grow into future strategic or leadership opportunities. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead & Coach: Supervise regional training staff, provide ongoing coaching, and support professional development through evaluations and mentorship. 
  • Drive Training Excellence: Oversee New Staff Orientation (NSO) and continuing education programs to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. 
  • Design & Develop: Create and update engaging training content, manuals, and resources aligned with adult learning principles. 
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Operations, HR, and leadership teams to identify skill gaps and prioritize training initiatives. 
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain instructor certifications and ensure all training aligns with policies, regulations, and Dungarvin’s service philosophy. 
  • Track & Improve: Monitor training effectiveness using feedback and key metrics like completion rates, certifications, and learner satisfaction. 
  • Leverage Technology: Utilize Learning Management Systems and training software to deliver, track, and analyze training across multiple locations. 
  • Maintain Records: Ensure accurate documentation of training activities, certifications, and billing (where applicable).

Qualifications

MUST HAVE

  • Work Experience: 2+ years of experience or education related to teaching, staff training, or in-service presentation 
  • Training Design & Delivery: Proven success designing, implementing, and delivering effective virtual or in-person programs using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices. 
  • Physical requirements: Instructors must demonstrate physical coordination and skill, which may include the ability to maintain balance while moving or being pushed or pulled. They must also be able to lower themselves into a half- squat position while keeping their back straight. 
  • Virtual Training & E-Learning Tools: Experienced conducting web-based training and using LMS platforms (e.g., Relias, Cornerstone) and content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva). 
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management abilities to guide and support staff effectively. 
  • Microsoft 365 Proficiency: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint for efficient communication, reporting, and documentation. 

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Certifications: Must either currently hold or be able to obtain certifications in required training programs. These include, but are not limited to: CPR, CBRF First Aid (including choking), CBRF Fire Safety, CBRF Standard Precautions, CPI Mandt, and any other state or Dungarvin-required programs.   
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with care industry regulations and compliance standards such as HIPAA, OSHA, CBRF, and Medicaid. 
  • Relevant Experience: Previous work in human services, healthcare, or developmental disabilities, with direct experience or strong understanding of the populations served, including developmental disabilities and mental health.

  • Leadership & Coaching: Guide and inspire training teams through clear direction, regular feedback, and mentoring to support growth and accountability. 
  • Communication: Deliver clear, engaging messages and training materials, adapting communication style for diverse audiences and active engagement. 
  • Data-Driven Improvement: Use learner feedback and key performance metrics to assess effectiveness and continuously improve training outcomes. 
  • Collaboration & Alignment: Partner with HR, compliance, operations, and leadership to ensure training strategies support organizational goals. 
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Anticipate learning needs, respond to change, and take proactive steps to innovate and evolve training programs. 
  • Needs Assessment & Project Management: Identify skill gaps and lead multi-region training projects through thoughtful planning, coordination, and execution. 
  • Inclusion & Conflict Resolution: Foster inclusive learning environments and professionally address challenges or resistance in hybrid and remote settings. 
  • Performance Measurement: Monitor training effectiveness through metrics such as delivery timeliness, trainee feedback, compliance tracking, and team development outcomes. 
  • Strategic & Emotional Leadership: Demonstrate strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, change management, conflict resolution, and stakeholder collaboration to lead with impact.
