Salary: Starting at $67,000 annually

Job Description
What You Get To Do:
The ISP Program Coordinator helps plan and put together the goals, activities, and strategies that support people in day habilitation and pre-vocational programs. The goal is to create engaging and meaningful programming that fits each person's unique interests, needs, and abilities—while staying in line with their service plans. This includes supporting their learning, social skills, emotional growth, and overall development. The coordinator also works closely with the program director to help keep things running smoothly and consistently across the board. Our Coordinator will be working with two Day Programs – one located in Willingboro and one located in North Brunswick.
- This is not a supervisory role, however, in times of need, this person may be asked to fill in for the Program Director
- Develop strategies needed to assist program participants reach the ISP outcomes (in a multitude of areas including academic, community-integration, socialization, communication, activities of daily living, employment-training, etc.).
- Work with the program supervisors to create individualized or group activity calendars based on ISP strategies.
- Assure that there is an active curriculum in each area targeted in the strategies and implemented in a way that reflects the progress of the program participants in achieving their ISP outcomes.
- Report on consumers progress on ISP strategies, activities, curriculums and submit relative documentation as needed.
- Coordinate and follow-up on team meeting recommendations in consultation with the program director.
- Participate in establishing appropriate day program outcomes for each consumer in relation to program activities and community participation
- Provide training and direction to staff on the implementation of ISP strategies and activity curriculums.
- Work with Program Directors to ensure that program activities are consistent with the consumer’s individual service plan and ISP strategies.
Qualifications
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work or related field preferred.
- 3 years prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
- Prior experience developing consumer goals and strategies/objectives and implementation methods is required.
- The ideal candidate must have good decision-making, time management and excellent communication skills. He/she must have excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Power point and Outlook and must be willing to travel.
- Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
