As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Dungarvin, you’ll be at the center of creating lasting change for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Fairfield and Vacaville day programs. This role combines direct clinical work with leadership and collaboration, giving you the opportunity to both guide practice and see progress firsthand. You’ll design and implement individualized behavior support plans, celebrate milestones as people reach their personal goals, and work closely with families, staff, and interdisciplinary team members. Your expertise will directly shape how individuals build independence, confidence, and connection in their homes, workplaces, and communities.

Job Description
In this role, you will:
- Develop, implement, and monitor positive behavior support systems tailored to individuals with challenging behaviors.
- Provide direct clinical services, coaching, and consultation to staff.
- Partner with individuals and families to foster independence, productivity, and community connection.
- Collaborate as a member of our interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure best-practice services.
- Services are provided in accordance with Dungarvin policies and procedures, state, federal, and BCBA guidelines, available research evidence on effective practices, and all applicable contractual obligations.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet the following:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification recognized by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain an approved criminal background check specific to the role.
- Commitment to maintaining active BCBA certification.
