Pay: $24.50-$27.30

Job Description
What You Get To Do:
The Maintenance Technician's primary responsibility is to ensure that all preventive, corrective and renovative maintenance needs of assigned buildings, grounds, and vehicles are completed in accordance with licensure and regulations. This position is also responsible to complete maintenance repairs as necessary.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure residential homes, grounds, and property are well maintained and in good repair at all times
- Participate in general maintenance planning and capital improvements planning
- Coordinate and secure external vendors for skilled maintenance repairs
- Remove and/or oversee the removal of snow and ice during winter months, as necessary at the group homes
- Ensure an organized, responsible, and controlled manner of acquiring and maintaining all tools, equipment and keys belonging to the organization.
- Ensure maintenance documentation is completed and maintained for all repairs.
Qualifications
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) years experience in building maintenance including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general appliance repair.
- Must secure First aid and CPR certification within 30 days
- Must possess ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.
- A valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, and the ability to meet the organization’s motor vehicle record standards
- Ability to be on call in evenings and weekends, to complete projects.
- One year experience working with individuals with developmental disability "Preferred".
Physical Requirements:
- This role may involve moving, lifting, or transferring items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- This role may involve periods of standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, or moving in various positions (such as stooping, kneeling, or crouching)
- This role involves effective communication, active listening, and the ability to perform tasks that may require visual focus.
