Job Description

As an Applications Analyst, you will be responsible for managing both on-premises and cloud-hosted applications, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. You will collaborate with third-party vendors, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will assist with database management, provide second-tier support to users, and contribute to disaster recovery planning. Your expertise will help drive process improvements, enhance security measures, and ensure seamless integration of software systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop and maintain standards for configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Help understand and document the licensing requirements of all applications, software, interfaces, and databases.
  • Monitor event logs, respond to alerts, and report on performance.
  • Provide second-tier support and assist users with application-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Assist other departmental staff with troubleshooting.
  • Work to improve the user experience of applications.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

  • 2-year degree in a computer-related field.
  • 2 years of experience working with enterprise application technologies. 
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, and Office 365 applications.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical users.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • 4-year degree in a computer-related field.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification or Microsoft Certified Professional
  • Microsoft Certified Professional.
