What You’ll Do: The local help desk (LHD) is the primary point of contact for technology needs, SharePoint site administration provision Microsoft accounts being created and discontinued, provides new staff computer training, maintains documentation for computer training, provides ongoing technology support, manages laptops, office technology, and MiCollab set-up and training with phone extensions. The local help desk works closely with the national IS department to ensure IS initiatives are pushed out to Dungarvin MN, proper equipment is in place and acts as a liaison between Dungarvin MN and the IS department.

  • Primary point of contact for all minor computer troubleshooting issues
  • Complete software updates
  • Act as a liaison between Dungarvin, MN and IS department
  • Training for new employees on Dungarvin, MN technology, equipment and applications
  • SharePoint administration

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED Certificate
  • Minimum of two years of technology experience.
  • Minimum of two years of business education, business training, or administrative experience.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office, SharePoint, Word, Excel to create spreadsheets, and knowledge of Access software.
  • Process information with confidence, flexibility, initiative, and self-directedness. Have the ability to navigate unexpected demands and incidents.
  • System development and management skills, including the ability to evaluate successful systems and recommend changes, when needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels within the organization and community.
