This is a full-time position and requires on-call hours. 

Wage: $56,100/year

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (some flexibility needed for evening and weekend hours)

Job Description

Dungarvin supports individuals in Supported Employment to identify and obtain a job in an integrated employment setting in the general workforce. We provide initial and ongoing supports to help individuals maintain employment. We are currently approved by Vocational Rehabilitation and contracted with the Oregon Commission of the Blind to provide comprehensive employment planning and job development enhancements for the individuals that we support.

What you'll do: 

  • Coordinating and managing the Supported Employment program and staff (including Job Coaches and Employment Specialists), ensuring quality in all aspects of the program. 
  • Train staff and provide ongoing coaching and development of all Supported Employment employees, as well as involvement in hiring new staff 
  • Networking to build connections with local organizations, agencies, and businesses to continue to grow the Supported Employment program. 
  • Collaborating with Area Director and State Director, as well as case managers and other support services to ensure individuals receive optimal services 
  • Regular contact of individuals supported in program and visiting job sites in community to ensure client success and to track progress.
  • Developing and implementing individual support plan (ISP) goals, behavior support plans (BSPs), or other support documents, ensuring services provided align with individuals' preferences, needs, and goals.
  • Staff scheduling.
  • Provide input, acquire approvals, and monitor program spending to ensure it is within budget guidelines and meets the needs of the individuals.
  • Communicate with families regularly regarding the needs and progress of individuals. 
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures and participating in license and certification reviews. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and abilities.
  • Must have two years of experience working with individuals who have barriers to employment. 
  • Must have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience. 
  • This role requires driving as a fundamental responsibility: a valid driver's license and consistent and reliable access to a dependable vehicle is required.
  • Must have prior experience in developing and executing individual programs and implementing budgets.
  • Must have good decision-making, time management, and communication skills, and must be flexible in adapting to program needs.
