Job Description
We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist children ages 16-21 with disabilities; behavioral or medical complexities in our residential program.
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP/Caregiver), you will support children with activities that focus on increasing their independence. As a DSP/Caregiver, you will work with children to provide coaching, supervision, and role modeling life skills. The job may also include transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, and assistance with personal cares.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required
- 6 months of professional work experience supporting vulnerable populations (ex. caregiver, nanny, paraeducator, direct support professional, etc.)
- 6 months of volunteer experience may be used in leui of professional work experience.
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 2 pm-10 pm, Sat 8 am-2 pm
