Job Description
What You Will Do:
The Vocational Program Director is responsible for coordination and management of one vocational site (day program). The primary areas of responsibility for this individual include assuring all aspects of the day program are efficiently and fully developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored. This role will also be responsible for hiring and supervising the highest quality of direct support professionals, acting as a primary role model for staff by providing structure, guidance, feedback, and training.
The Vocational Program Director ensures that the overall vocational operation including the medical, financial and maintenance aspects of the site, meet or exceed established service level requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, program continuity, individual community involvement/integration, health/nutrition, family involvement, individual finances and educational/vocational programs.
Qualifications
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in human services.
- Prior experience managing a vocational program serving individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities required.
- Familiarity with a fee-for-service environment strongly preferred.
- Must be responsible, mature, flexible and have good decision-making, time management and communication skills.
