Job Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to operations to assist in the assurance of high quality services
  • Tracking trends, developing reports and gathering information
  • Conducting investigations, documenting findings and finalizing conclusions with written reports. 
  • Implementing and assisting in corrective action plans and tracking completion and compliance.
  • Providing administrative, management and programmatic support throughout the organization in order to assist in the assurance of high quality services
  • Compliance, quality assurance initiatives, reporting, investigations, as well as fostering consistent and productive management practices.
  • The QA role is expected to travel at least once a month in the Denver- Colorado Springs area. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field and three years experience in a related field, as determined by the senior director. 
  • Prior experience conducting investigations preferred. 
  • Knowledge of governing rules and regulations.
  • Excellent decision-making, time management, research and writing skills. 
  • Must have proven communication, and project management skills; must be independent, responsible, mature, and flexible. 
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Prefer experience/familiarity with procedures and rules for all relevant rules and regulations of all applicable state and federal departments.
