Job Description
The Regional Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) Director is responsible for providing leadership to the senior operations leadership team in our Northwest and West regions of the United States and will provide supervision of the HRBP team. This position will work collaboratively and consultatively with operational leaders. The Regional HRBP Director partners with other HR Centers of Excellence including, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and People Services. This position understands the industry and Dungarvin business to help shape HR initiatives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Effectively build strong relationships with senior operational management to address and mitigate employee or manager concerns. Actively propose new areas in which HR may add value.
- Develop a high level of business knowledge and strong partnership with employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Oversee the implementation of effective employee recruitment and retention strategies in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assure human resources functions comply with regulatory standards.
- Oversight and leadership of two HRBP Directors within the region. This role has a team of six HRBPs under their umbrella of leadership.
- Assist with strategic reporting and recommendations from findings meant for senior HR management, departmental heads and management, stakeholders, and business partners.
- Leverage Dungarvin programs, policies, practices and tools to improve business results and mitigate risk.
- Consult with the business and stakeholders on complex organizational changes and actively lead through transformational change as a trusted partner.
- Continuously identify opportunities to drive value in the business, remove barriers and pursue the resources needed for delivering effective HR solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR required. Masters preferred.
- 10+ years of exempt-level human resources experience specifically with strategic planning and consultation. Experience in employee relations, recruiting, worker's compensation claims management, training, etc. This role requires experience working in an HRBP supervision role or similar capacity.
- Experienced in strategic HR conversations, project management, change management, and data analytics.
- 5+ years of director experience specifically with performance management, coaching, and developing others specific to HR within a large national organization.
- Must have strong computer skills and the ability to work in multiple systems, including but not limited to an HRIS, ATS, and LMS.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated consultative and collaborate approach, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Able to navigate organizational complexities and leverage knowledge of the business to achieve strategic objectives.
- Skilled in interpreting data to diagnose problems/patterns and provide leaders with insights.
- Knowledgeable in HR best practices and trends along with federal and state employment laws.
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the United States, primarily in the West and Northwest states.
