Job Description
What You Get To Do:
The Program Manager is responsible for providing leadership and management of Dungarvin’s program services. The Program Manager is also responsible for assuring coordination and management of the overall operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of the home, through guiding and directing the lead direct support professional, or designee of the site.
Typically responsible for caseloads of approximately 2-10 residential consumers and 1-3 program sites. Will supervise 5-20 full-time direct support professionals in traditional services setting. Number of residents, programs residents and direct reports will vary for High Acuity service settings.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide supervision and oversight of program, in consultation with supervisor.
- Foster and facilitate persons served choice-making in all major life areas.
- Organize and ensure pre-service, on-the-job, and in-service staff training and development
- Build rapport with others in peoples’ lives through the use of good communication skills.
- Manage fiscal resources.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, certification and regulatory standards for all services provided under the assigned case load.
- To coordinate delivery of individual services and supports.
Hours:
- Mon 9am - 5pm, Tues 10am - 6pm, Weds 11am - 7pm, Thurs 3pm - 11pm, Sat 8am - 4pm.
Qualifications
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- Two-year degree in related social services field and/or two years of experience in social services field.
- Experience working in the field of developmental disabilities and supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be able to carry out duties without direct supervision.
- Must be responsible, flexible and possess good decision-making, time management and communication skills.
