Job Description

Provide support to unit-based services with the coordination of referrals, scheduling, service authorization management, and utilization tracking. Provides support to the department, with the management and upkeep of assigned reports, tracking and spreadsheet monitoring. Assists with compilation of data for open shifts in the department and assists with service authorization management functions, including contacting case mangers regarding authorization issues. 

The unit-based referral and services coordinator is also responsible for assisting designated supervisory personnel with projects, research and administrative tasks, as required. This is a heavy excel position must be comfortable using excel. 

Pay is starting at $20.50 per hour 

Hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience for home and community-based services is preferred.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Experience with scheduling, managing service authorizations, doing intakes, and strong background or experience with Excel, Word, and data management.
  • Position requires daily use of information technology.
  • An Associates or four-year degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines and organize information, and strong communication skills, including customer service experience.
