Working directly with individuals as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be able to assist in a residential setting (group home). DSP caregivers provide support services and assistance to individuals in their homes or in the community. Candidates will have a desire to create lasting positive impacts on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Current auto liability insurance
  • Ability to drive own vehicle while working 
  • Acceptable clearance of background check
  • Prefer previous experience working with persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities or on the Autism Spectrum.
  • A minimum of two years working with individuals with disabilities and/or one-year of lead staff experience or a two-year degree in a related field. Prior experience in residential services preferred. Must have good decision making, communication, and time management skills. Must be responsible, reliable, and able to carry out job functions without direct supervision. Must have basic computer skills.
