Job Description

What You Get To Do:

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible to work cooperatively with the Vocational Program Director, Behavior Support Specialist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and other staff in the development, implementation and evaluation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans. In addition, the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for all other duties and responsibilities of the Vocational Support Provider position.

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work closely with individuals who exhibit a wide range of maladaptive behaviors under the guidance of the BCBA.  The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible to provide direct supports to the participants at the program including but not limited to supervision, implementation of behavior support plans and guidelines, data collection, community integration, maintaining a clean, safe environment and training. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) must be flexible and willing to work where the need for behavioral support is greatest as determined by the Vocational Program Director.

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate is required
  • Valid, current RBT certification awarded by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).  
  • Minimum of one year experience providing behavioral and vocational supports to individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
