Job Description

What You Get To Do:

The Administrative Assistant will cooperatively work with all staff in expediting the general flow of matters pertaining to the office, including, but not limited to reception, general office, and clerical duties.  This position comes with lots of autonomy, with the opportunity to work independently with little direction. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and phone calls, often serving as the first point of contact for the organization.
  • Employee communication
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring a well-organized and functional workspace
  • Work with leadership and other business units on a variety of assigned projects
  • Keep files and documents organized, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping requirements.

Hours: Mon - Fri - 8:30am - 2:00pm (25 hours)

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • High school diploma or GED Certificate.
  • Minimum of two years of administrative secretarial experience. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills to set priorities and meet timelines.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information.
  • Solid computer skills in MS Office Word, Excel to create spreadsheets; and knowledge of Access software.
  • Writing skills must reflect correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, composition, quality, and fluent vocabulary.
  • Verbal skills must include clarity, professionalism, and personable. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels within the organization and community.
