This position pays $21.50 per hour, increasing to $22.00 per hour after 90 days.

Job Description

As a Program Coordinator (PC), you will play a crucial role by providing compassionate care while enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.  This is not a supervisory role. However, the PC is the lead staff for one residential group home program.   

What You Get to Do:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Wednesday - Saturday. 
  • Wage: Starting at $21.50 per hour and increases to $22.00 per hour after 90 days
  • Assist with schedules
  • Document and follow-up of individual and program related needs.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and Oregon Administrative Rules.
  • One-on-one training of DSP staff.
  • Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
  • Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and more.
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
  • Build relationships with persons served and teammates.
  • Attend special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events.
  • Transport clients to appointments or other activities outside the home.
  • Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest.
  • Document progress, milestones, and action steps.

Qualifications

What Makes You a Great Fit: 

  • 1 year of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  
  • Prior experience in residential services preferred.

  • 18 years or older

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
