If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Social Media Specialist! In this position you will be responsible for developing and implementing our recruiting marketing strategy to build brand awareness and drive both consumer and candidate interest in working with our organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Create and design visually compelling content and manage the different platforms (including Glassdoor, Indeed employer pages), digital ads, email templates, job descriptions, social media graphics, and other assets that match Dungarvin’s brand and aid in reaching our business goals using Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Write and post content across the company's social media platforms to grow and engage our audience
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop social media strategies around specific stories/topics and desired ad-hoc projects
  • Assist leadership in developing overall social media strategy on a quarterly and yearly basis
  • Use social media analytics to listen to target audiences, identify breaking and trending information
  • Schedule and create content for social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok)
  • Mine social media conversations, engage in conversation on behalf of the brand, and collaborate with internal teams to craft responses when necessary
  • Identify KPIs and provide monthly analysis and reporting on our social media and digital platforms to show progress and communicate insights
  • Lead improvements to the Dungarvin careers site by executing the long-term vision and roadmap of the company

Qualifications

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing or Journalism
  •  1-2 years of experience in (recruiting) marketing, social media, writing, advertising, or a related field
  • Must possess a solid understanding of the social media universe, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, blogs, and other related online platforms, social media optimization strategies, and interactive marketing principles
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications, including InDesign and Photoshop
  • Thorough knowledge of best practices within social media storytelling, tools and analytics
  • Experience with photography and videography, including shooting and editing
  • Be able to provide examples of work either on social sites or have a portfolio link
  • Excellent communication skills through a variety of mediums, including but not limited to speaking, writing, presenting ideas, and educating others

  • Highly motivated with a passion for blogging and staying agile and authentic on social media
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple project
  • A team player with the confidence to take the lead to articulate and present campaign strategy ideas and marketing reports
  • Should demonstrate a passion for staying up to date on (recruiting) marketing best practices, industry trends and platform updates to support continuous improvement
  • You listen well, process quickly, and ask good questions
  • You understand how design can connect to client business goals
  • Drive to navigate through ambiguity, anticipate the unknowns, follow-through and continue to learn
  • Able to work with minimal supervision; we are seeking that strong doer type personality

Additional Information

Dungarvin's founders Tim and Diane Madden opened the first Dungarvin program serving 15 people in St. Paul, Minnesota, in March 1976. Tim and Diane were the live-ins for that first program and they have continued their leadership of the organization since. Through the success of that program Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 4,000 people who currently provide supports to over 4,000 individuals across 14 states.
