Job Description

Dungarvin is hiring a Program Director to support people with developmental disabilities in our Behavioral Adult Day Program located in Rohnert Park! We develop opportunities for stimulating, productive, purposeful and meaningful experiences for the people we serve as well as our dedicated team of employees.  We offer activities on-site, as well as outings and participation in local community events. Candidates will have a desire to create a lasting positive impact on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overall operations of the Day Program
  • Community integration
  • Developing and monitoring quality services to the people we serve
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Hiring, training and supervision of staff
  • Compliance with regulations, policies and procedures
  • Development of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and the coordination of behavioral supports
  • Coordinating the services of consultants
  • Facility management
  • Budget management, managing supplies and equipment
  • Financials, payroll and scheduling
  • Collaboration with stakeholders and partners

POSITION:

  • Full-time organizational position, requiring schedule flexibility to accommodate various program, individual and staff needs
  • This position is on-call at all times during program operations unless prior arrangements have been made for someone of comparable authority to receive calls.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

  • Experience with virtual platforms such as Zoom
  • Bachelor’s degree in the human services field
  • 3 years of experience in a human services delivery system
  • At least 2 years in a management or supervisory position OR 2 years of experience or training in one of the following:
    • Care and supervision of individuals served in a licensed adult day program or an adult day health care facility
    • Care and supervision of one or more of the categories of persons to be served by the day program
  • Experience working with Regional Centers and people with development disabilities 

NICE TO HAVE: 

  • Experience working with Community Care Licensing and knowledge of Title 22 and Title 17 regulations
  • Experience in developing and implementing individual programs, budget implementation and supervising others
