Job Description

The employment services department manager (ESDM)is responsible for providing leadership and management of Dungarvin’s Supported Employment Services program. Under the supervision of the director, the ESDM will focus on the ongoing development and growth of the department as well as oversight of daily operations.  This position supervises a team and program directors that have oversight responsibilities for the program.

Qualifications

·       The ESDM must possess a minimum of a four-year degree in the social serves field.

·       Two years of experience in directly supervising management staff.

·       Four years of experience and expertise in employment services preferably within Minnesota.

·       Experience supervising in diverse settings including multiple site/ programs with an emphasis on problem program development and management.

·       Two years of demonstrated experience working collaboratively with trade organizations, counties and other outside organizations or agencies.

·       Project management experienced preferred.

·       Exposure to a variety of setting in the social service field.

 

The ESDM must have good decision-making, time management, problem solve, and be responsible, mature, and flexible. Have a demonstrated ability to lead and to motivate others.  Must possesses good communication skills both spoken and written.  Must be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a variety of settings.
