Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Senior Director is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of 6 in northern Indiana (Portage, South Bend and Lafayette).  This person would be responsible for the overall administration and growth of the Dungarvin business and services within their prospective area.  The Senior Director is responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with potential and existing business partners including local, state, and federal legislative and department representatives, advocacy groups, trade associations, and other stakeholders as warranted.

Duties include:

  • Strategic program and fiscal planning/management,
  • Development and evaluation of programs 
  • Compliance with business and program regulations and laws
  • Assure quality of services meet regulatory and licensing requirements
  • Management and expansion of markets
  • Hire, coach/mentor, train, and supervise direct reports (6)

Qualifications

WHAT WE LOOK FOR: 

  • Master’s degree in Human Services is preferred, minimum, must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the human services field.
  • Five years of progressive leadership experience in a health or human services organization; preferably related to service individuals with disabilities.
  • The ability to make independent decisions that are consistent with Dungarvin’s philosophy, policies and procedures, and high expectations regarding service quality.
  • Previous experience with the state of Indiana systems is strongly preferred.
  • Financial management experience

HOURS WORKED:

  • 40 hours per week. 
  • Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 5:00 PM 
  • Travel is associated with this role.
