Job Description

As a Program Director you will ensure the overall management and administration of programs/services (Host home, Adults, Children, or Day Program) along with new development in assigned geographic area of state.

This includes budget development and implementation, rate negotiation, licensing, strategic evaluation and planning, staff development, hiring and supervision of contractors and direct support professional, assigned support staff, and policy development. All while managing risk, minimize organizational liability and ensure all reasonable measures are taken to ensure safety of individuals supported, staff and the community.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or Bachelor's Degree in the social or behavioral sciences required. If an individual has a Associates or Bachelor's degree in a non-related field, must have at least two years of experience working in the IDD or host home model with 2 years of supervisory experience. 
  • Experience working with adults and children 
  • Experience in developing and implementing individual programs
  • Must have 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience serving persons with Developmental Disabilities is a PLUS
