To be successful in this role as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you’ll need to be mindful of resident’s disabilities in an empathetic manner and encourage them to live independent and productive lives. You will assist with personal care needs, medication administration, perform housekeeping duties, advance residents’ decision-making, productivity, promote participation in a range of activities and meaningful interactions between residents and the community.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are much more than just caregivers! Ultimately, you will serve as an advocate for the entire community with disabilities.

Qualifications

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Current auto liability insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Acceptable criminal record
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
