Job Description

The Development Coordinator works to grow Dungarvin’s business and profit through attracting new customers and by increasing the revenue from existing customers. This position works under the direction of the State Director and other stakeholders to identify and develop initiatives to increase Dungarvin market share and profitability through organic growth, new service segments, partnering and acquisitions.

Qualifications

The Development Coordinator must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the provision of services to people with developmental or other disabilities, and demonstrated experience researching, developing and successfully implementing business growth plans, while maintaining excellent service quality in the health and human services industry is required.

A bachelor’s degree in human services or related field is required.

The Development Coordinator must have excellent decision-making skills, strong written and oral communication skills, be highly responsive to internal and external customers, work well under stress, flexible, possess prior management experience, and excel at developing and maintaining relationships with funders, oversight agencies, and internal and external stakeholders.
