Job Description

The office manager is responsible for secretarial services for an office supporting operations, human resources, and other departments. Specifically, this position manages all aspects of the offices including maintenance and upkeep, equipment purchasing and maintenance, maintains the furniture and equipment inventory. The office manager is responsible to manage some departmental budgets. May perform other related responsibilities depending on the size of office and other supports available


Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent certificate

Prior supervisory experience is preferred, but not required

Valid driver's license. This position is a Limited Driving Position

Must have ability to be tactful and diplomatic

Must exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be able to handle confidential information appropriately

Must be able to work with people of all levels of the organization and community

Must have system development and management skills, including the ability to evaluate the success of a system and recommend changes when needed.

Must have a solid understanding of Information Systems (IS) and the ability to effectively work with IS personnel
